Cloud MLX Has Arrived! Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Technology has no doubt changed the way we live and interact with the world around us. Of course there are arguments about these changes being positive as well as arguments about the negative effects. But, taking the good with the bad – one undeniable fact is that technology gives you:

A CHOICE.

In the early stages of the Internet you had limited choices for email (remember that dial up AOL sound?), now you have Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. Taking it a step further, you can choose to use programs like Apple Mail and Outlook – which provide a different interface than what you are given by Gmail, for example.

So why then, have real estate agents been given only one choice for searching for listings – the MLS?

It’s this lack of choice, which we find completely unacceptable, that lead to the inspiration and conception of Cloud MLX, which was officially released last week.

What is Cloud MLX?
Cloud MLX is an alternative front end for the MLS. It’s a seamless and modern way for agents to search for and share listings with clients.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the top features of Cloud MLX:

  1. Search.
Imagine searching for listings in the same way you search for crockpot recipes on Pinterest. You start typing what you are thinking and the search bar suggests options to make searching easier and faster. With Cloud MLX you can search quickly and effortlessly with the smart search bar. All you have to do is start typing and hit enter to select the criteria. If you prefer to search by map, Cloud MLX also offers the ability to search specific areas on a map (similar to that of Cloud Streams). Plus you can save your map searches and they’ll become suggestions upon typing them into the search bar. The more you use Cloud MLX, the smarter the search bar becomes.
  2. Share.
What if you could say “sayonara” to MLS spreadsheets? Well now you can. Cloud MLX makes sharing listings with clients easy. Simply start a search, save it, and then share that search with your clients by a unique link. To share specific properties with your clients, simply assign them to a specific hashtag that can also be shared with a unique link.  Plus, since Cloud MLX serves as a ‘hub’ for Cloud CMA and Cloud Streams, you can easily send your clients a Cloud CMA report or set them up with listing alerts on Cloud Streams all in one place.
  3. Easy Onboarding.
Imagine if you could start searching the MLS the same day you get your MLS credentials. Forget about classes and training on the MLS system, Cloud MLX’s interface is easy to use and provides a similar search experience that you are already accustomed to.

So there you have it – Cloud MLX! Cloud MLX is now the third W+R Studios product that will be added to the upcoming Cloud Agent Suite (Cloud CMA, Cloud Streams, and Cloud MLX). Stay tuned for more information about Cloud MLX and the Cloud Agent Suite!

  1. Hi Erica, at this time California Regional MLS is the only provider where Cloud MLX is available. However, we are working very hard to get Cloud MLX available to more agents in more markets, so thank you for sharing your interest with us! Stay tuned for updates 🙂

  2. Hi Robert – you make a great point. It’s unfortunate that not everyone can use our products without an agreement with the MLS. However, by getting the word out through our newsletter, we’re hoping to partner with more MLSs to make the product available to more people. At least this way when Cloud MLX becomes available in your market, you’ll know exactly what its all about! Sorry if you feel reading our article was a waste of your time – that certainly is never our intention.

  3. Hi Daria, at this time we offer a daily webinar for Cloud CMA, you can register at webinar.cloudcma.com. We also host a live webinar for Cloud Streams on Tuesdays/Thursdays – register at webinar.cloudstreams.net. Unfortunately we do not have a Cloud MLX webinar at this time, but it’s something we plan to do in the near future so stay tuned for updates!

  4. it sounds good, how do i get training on using these products and what is the cost?

  5. I went to the website to do a 30 day trial and the only area you are servicing is California. Why would you send an email blast out to people who can’t use the product. That just wasted 30 minutes of my precious time today

  6. Everything has a cost. What is your fee schedule? This will be an added cost the the MLS fees I now pay? Sounds great but need to know.

  7. Good Morning!

Can you tell me which MLS providers this works on? I think there should have been an additional button in your email for the list of approved mls providers.

I’m in Toronto Canada. I am a member of 3 boards, 2 with mls:

Toronto Real Estate Board, TREB, (we use Stratus systems and merging to Collab aka Collaborate)

Oakville and Milton District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) also called the Ontario Regional MLS (we have just recently had 7 boards join together for shared data) This uses the Matrix Mls system.

    Thanks
