Who are iBuyers?
The term iBuyer refers to companies who give cash offers to homeowners. Compared to home flippers, iBuyers are not looking for fixer-uppers but rather homes that are liveable and only need minor repairs. They are typically backed by venture capital firms, so they are able to purchase a larger volume of homes.
What is iBuyer Connect?
It’s a new feature added to Cloud CMA that connects agents with investors in their local market. Rather than connecting consumers to iBuyers, like Zillow Offers and Redfin, now, iBuyer Connect gives the agent a chance to bring a cash offer to their listing presentation. Cloud CMA – and every tool in the Cloud Agent Suite – is specifically designed to make you your clients best resource and thrive in today’s ever-changing market. Which is why we felt strongly about creating this new feature to help empower you during this iBuyer movement.
Here’s how it works:
We’ve partnered with various investor groups across the country who have specific criteria to help identify which homes are a good fit for their services. Based on this information, when you run a CMA report in Cloud CMA for a property that qualifies, you are presented with the option to get an investor offer:
If you choose to accept the offer, we will only send basic property details along with your contact information to the investor.
Not interested? Just decline the offer and nothing will be shared with them.
Since its release in July 2018, iBuyer Connect has launched in Orange County, Austin, Orlando, Phoenix, and more. Plus, more than 10 homes have already been successfully sold by agents using Cloud CMA and iBuyer Connect! Here is one agent’s success story using the feature:
